If Forza 6 doesn't even have half of these things, I'm selling my Xbone, buying a PS4, and switching to Gran Turismo.
Compatibility with Forza 5 designs/vinyl groups.
Endurance racing (I had a lot of fun with the 2.4 Hours of Le Mans in Forza 4)
Weather/Time of day. Your last racing title, Project Gotham Racing 4, had real-time weather. Get with the program, you doofies.
More tracks
More ordinary cars (e.g. Camry, Accord, etc.)
More race cars (e.g. stock cars, WEC race cars, F1 cars, indy cars.)
Quit with the micro-transactions already. I'm not paying a cent over $60 to complete an incomplete game.
Better pit lane thing.
Less-restrictive storefront.
Storefront.
Auction house.
Less restrictive engine swaps. I'd suggest a separate "shop" for nothing but engine work, and a store for engines. For example, I can buy an LS7, and then choose a car to put it into, like a Nissan 350Z. Or even a K20 I can put into a Lotus Elise.
Let us be able to turn any car into a GT2/GT1 car, like you can in Gran Turismo. I enjoy doing race car liveries in Fourza, and I'd like for them to actually be able to compete with other race cars.
Optional qualifying before a race.
Make the races more interesting. In 5, it became painfully obvious that there was a maximum number of laps in each race, and they became repetitive. I quite liked the Nordschleife championship race in Fourza.
More default manufacture vinyls.
Actually CENTER the vinyl canvas for cars.
More events/game types. Also, give us a better multiplayer. Forza 5 multiplayer is a bore.
This is what would make me enjoy a racing game. What I enjoyed about Forza 4 was the sheer amount of stuff I could do in relation to PGR3, which I played before I found Forza. I still play Fourza because it's still fun.

I had an Xbone and Forza 5 preordered until I saw the tracklist and car list, cancelled them and haven't found a reason to buy an Xbone yet.
shame 'cause I put ~300 hours or so into Fourza, and at least 100 in each of the previous Forza's.

I wouldn't recommend threatening to go GT. IMO gran turismo sucks more at things that matter most like car physics and engine sounds etc. But i share almost every point of your wish list for Forza 6

I'm getting it regardless, but I'd appreciate pretty much all of this. I'd love to occasionally be able to race a track without getting blinded by the sun, because every race in the Forza-verse is apparently run in either early morning, or late afternoon. And the 'more ordinary cars' thing, in particular, is something I've always wanted... Though since they don't even sell the Camry where I live, I'm thinking more this sort of thing:
(Okay, okay—what I really want is a bunch of nineties/2010s Peugeots, and late nineties/early-to-mid-oughts Fords. And, while I'd love to get the boggo trims into the bargain - it'd be hilarious to race in my very own 106 1.1 - the GTis and so on do hold more of an allure.)

Horizon 2's been a lot of fun and, for what it's worth, I did play a lot of 5. The track selection was limited, and the car list disappointing, but the driving physics are probably my favourite of any racing game.

Coming from someone with GT6, don't hold your breath that GT7 will be better than Forza 6. GT6 was crap (same carry-over cars from older games, vacuum cleaner exhaust notes, stupid licensing system, dumb AI drivers, unrealistic upgrade system, I could go on) and since it's a next-gen title PD will basically have to start from scratch in GT7 like T10 did for Fiveza (and thus omit a lot of cars and tracks or take for freaking ever to make it), while Forza 6 will reuse and refine already-existent assets like tracks and cars and stuff.
Also I want chrome and matte vinyls. And more racecars. Can never have too many racecars. Forza 6 needs to do a deal with TUSCC like Fourza did with the ALMS and get all the DP's and GTLM cars in-game.

What I want is for more manufacturer's to have more cars. I'm kind of tired of seeing them add in manufacturers and only having one car, the biggest offenders being Oldsmobile, Land Rover, TVR, Plymouth, Buick, Cadillac, and Jeep. If you're going to include manufacturer's either add more cars, or just drop them. While I'm at it, less modern performance vehicles, more classic vehicles, I want to be able to have cars that give me the same fun as driving a 62 Continental in Fourza, include more of those cars, I'm tired of racing games/car sims that only let me drive performance vehicles, its boring, its tiresome, its tedious seeing the same cars, give me the option to drive a Land Yacht for Christ's sake. Also, bring back Lincoln and give them more cars, I want to see a racing game that lets you drive a Mark VII LSC.

Seriously, driving performance cars is getting boring! I want to drive a 1.6 Honda Civic wagon like I can in FOurza!

Fourza will always be my favorite racing game, its the game that got me back into cars, and I'm disappointed to see them keep adding in performance vehicles. If I want to see a performance vehicle, it better be either obscure enough to spark interest, or underrepresented. If they can add the Jalpa into Horizon 2, they can add in other weird stuff in 6.

I'll buy it regardless since the amount of time I got from Forza 5 was well over 400 hours but I kind of hope it comes out next year rather than this year. T10 have managed to make some amazing games in a ludicrously short amount of time but considering how long PC and GT7 have been in development for I believe only having 2 years put T10 at a a massive disadvantage. That said anyone who has played the last few GTs will tell you having time doesn't mean shit.

Pretty much everything you said. Regarding the pit lane, I haven't played 5 yet, have they changed it so that body damage/aero gets repaired, or are you still shit out of luck when that gets damaged?
I wish they'd make it so you could assign bots cars from your garage. I wanna have some themed races, goddamnit, and bots are still not a bad way to test out cars. Or at the very least get some themed photographs. Also, I wish they'd bring back some of the fiction tracks from the previous series, like Rally di Pasitano full, and all the cool street circuits from Forza 1, which I bet would be a blast to IndyCar/F1 race on. And I know they left out Montserrat in 5, which saddens me.

Add Xbox Smartglass compatibility so you buddy sitting net to you can schedule a change in suspension settings, aero settings, fuel levels, and tire types for the next pit stop. An absolute must for endurance racing with changing weather conditions, or if you plan on switching off with your buddy and he's a completely different driver than you.
Edit: And add the option for active flag stations!

Yes. It was suppose to release in November but they postponed it. It has been in development for a long time. I love Forza, I still currently race in a league. With f4 I even had a csr elite blah blah. I still think it's one of the best games out. But I also work in QA and Software. I really think Greenawalt is a dishonest coked out maniac, and the rest of the company is like any big one, at the mercy of accounts and money makers, not technical people.
They cut a ton out of the game, but more importantly failed to add and improve things for the 3rd year. The game sucks because nobody will ever learn to play a semi difficult game (think new racer, new car fan) where during their struggle they are continually wiped out. No hardcore racer will ever like a game with no options for them.
Forza could have 12 different video tests that teaches somebody who knows nothing of racing how to appropriately pass and exercise etiquette. They don't give a shit about this.
But most of all on top of everything, it's The Ferrari 250 Lusso, Alfa 4c, Hurraucananananan, F Type that went to a shit game Horizon 2 meanwhile Forza 5 was left not updated and stuck with it's shitty additions of ENDURA MINI VAN, AND 35 other completely pieces of shit. It's fucking insulting at this point.
Also somehow people accept the "we rushed forza 5 like hell because we had no choice. We now must stick to our development cycle because we must always do things the same way and never change and release Horizon 2, we don't want to fuck over Forza 5 but we've committed to this so"
—- No thanks Turn 10. I don't buy into you or your drug addict project managers bullshit.
Does anyone remember Danny Greenawalt interview "the things I'm most proud of are these undulating tribal beats that make for a gladitoral like battle experience"
I swear the guy was so fucking high at the big gamecon type interview holy fuck his eyessssss.
Ok rant over. The main thing with Project cars is it has a bazillion tracks, options for racers and proper forethought for starting and doing league racing.

...I think "chip on the shoulder" is an understatement at this point.
I agree with you to an extent, though. It's absolutely stupid how Forza 5 was handled. I preordered the Limited Edition, and I don't even have an Xbox One yet. But from what I've seen, I have very little desire to play it. (what little remains is in desire for open-wheeled cars and some of the tracks). Thus, getting an Xbox One hasn't been a priority. I wish I could just take back my money for it, but that can't happen. I still want to give Horizon 2 at try, though. I've heard decent things about it, and I enjoyed the first one.
Regarding Project Cars...welp, now I'm stuck with a dilemma of choosing a copy for Xbox One, or PC MASTER RACE.
I still need a wheel before I pick either, though. I am NOT racing without a wheel.

I don't know what to do either man. It's so costly. I have my v2 that was suppose to ship today but I can't afford to build a machine for the master race right now. Arghhh......Unfortunately people don't care about making the best game, just the most money and nobody is willing to make the best game before they get paid.
I really think as a whole consumers now need to stop ever paying for something that is not done. If you want to sell a product have some minimal professionalism and gumption to at least make some prototype first. Now companies want to get paid before they ever start any development or production, what the hell happened?
